Foray into Veganism II
Today I feel very slim and clean.
For breakfast, soy yogurt with granola.
During the day I snacked on an apple, granola, some crackers, a clementine, and a juice.
For lunch when I got home I made couscous and boiled edamame, then pureed banana and peanut butter and cocoa powder to make a yummy pudding.
I just had some pasta with a tomato sauce that I cooked up.
I probably didn't eat as much as I should have.

Foray into Veganism I
Starting this morning, I decided it would be Vegan Week. I'm tired of feeling bloated and guilty about eating animal products.
So far I feel really good. This morning I had soy yogurt (nothing new) with granola and a few leftover waffles that I just realized were probably made with milk or egg. I just steamed some broccoli and baby red bell peppers with salt, ate them with rice and hummus and pita. For dessert I had a few bites of a mango-strawberry salad and a glass of chocolate soy milk. Everything tasted really good and I didn't miss cheese on anything.
I'll stop on Sunday, unless I really like it and want to keep going. As long as I remember to eat beans or peanut butter I should be okay. I don't think I'll be too obsessive; I will eat honey, not worry about bone-bleached white sugar and flour, and not stress out if I slip up. Maybe I'll permanently alter my diet; I don't really drink milk as it is and rarely eat eggs.
This feels really good.
Unlike the end of vacation...

This is a Blog Post..
Trombone guy calls me 'adorable.'
I like my therapist. Her name is Cindy Bell.
My cats smell badly all the time.
I cannot go a single day without drinking tea.
I pulled a muscle in my bicep while working out today. Ow.
Homework just isn't happening tonight.
College is a stressful process.
I painted a whale the other night.
My room is messy no matter how many times I clean it.
I miss Marina and think about her all the time.
I wish my best friend would just talk to me, even though he made me so sad.
I like wearing socks in the winter.
Apple Hill! I will play chamber music from July 2- July 25.

Although.
But
why be sad?
I am going to put on the green pajamas my mama bought me, and sit with my kitten and watch a movie or read my new book or the Little Prince or maybe paint or knit or draw or make music.
I can now move on, and work on being best friends again as opposed to best friends trying to not feel lonely.

Chemistry!
MIDTERMS!
(Battle cry)
Stress stress stress galore, however less so over the prospects of Orchestra and History.
Districts kids find me appealing, my cat gets in the way of my studying, and I cannot stop playing Fishville.
Jasmine tea goes well with just about anything. Garlic does not follow that trend.
If I don't suck on a lollipop while studying, I end up biting my nails.
So I've gone through four Dum-Dums, several pieces of chocolate, and assorted Wonka candies in the past three hours. (Poor excuse, whatever.)
